Although Enterprise has stayed very true to Jack’s ground rules, they did want to add some values of their own. That is why, in 2003, Enterprise came up with Values Awards. This is a program that is designed mostly to recognize the offices across the world that best exemplify the founding values of the company. By making sure that all of the Enterprise stores around the globe are sticking to what they should be, the Enterprize name can rest assure that all customers are being treated fairly.
The Enterprise that we all known and love today now has an extended family of almost 65,000 people and has homegrown roots. Although the great leadership has been able to drive Enterprise into a great company, it’s the spirit of the employees that work for them that makes it truly one of the most well known car rental companies in the world. Although Enterprise has grown up fast and strong, the company does note that they never had a goal to be the biggest. They just wanted to work hard to become the best.
The reason why most customers admit to loving Enterprise car rental offices is because they are a big trustworthy company, but they still have the same feel and approachability of a small company. While many companies’ main goal is to go out there and make money, Enterprize wants to go out and make friends.
Enterprise has always, unlike many of their competitors, operated through an extensive network of local areas. This is another one of those founding ideas that has stuck with the company for many years. By being able to stay in neighborhood networks, Enterprise has a location within about every 15 miles of about 90 percent of all of the United States. There are currently about 7,000 Enterprise car rental offices around the world. This includes most of them right in the United States, Ireland, Germany, the UK, and Canada. Enterprise is also able to handle almost tens of millions of transactions a year and has the ability to treat each of these cases just as special as the next.
Also, as a way to help out local places, Enterprise has made a name for itself by buying out millions of dollars worth of used vehicles from local dealerships instead of big chains. This is just a way for Enterprise to give back to the places that keep giving to them.
